I get asked all the time to do natural weight loss product reviews. I was just getting ready to review the Diet Solution Program and help you figure out if it was a legitimate way to lose weight or if it was just another diet program full of promises. Having gone through the program myself, I felt very qualified to give you an honest assessment of Isabel De Los Rios’ top selling program.
But I received an email from my friend Craig Ballantyne, a top fitness trainer and creator of the Turbulence Training Program.
It’s all about the Diet Solution Program and the 4 foods you should NEVER eat. I think this email will help you decide for yourself if this program is real or a bunch of hot air.

Subject: 4 Foods Never to Eat in 2012
Hey Brian, I wanted to let you know that last November I was having dinner with Isabel De Los Rios and her husband out in LA. I’m sure you know Isabel is a world famous nutritionist and best selling author.
So I decided to keep a close eye on what she ate. Why? Because she is one of my three top resources when it comes to nutrition, dieting and weight loss.
The funny thing is, the next day I was with her again with a bunch of fitness gurus at Bill Phillps’ house. Bill is the creator of Body For Life. Well, Bill was hanging on her every word. Now that struck me as cool. Here is this fitness legend, Bill listening to literally everything Isabel had to say.
Literally the day after that I ran into Isabel again having breakfast with NY Times Best Selling Author, Tim Ferriss.
Ok so I started to realize pretty quickly that she had a lot of people listing to her nutritional advice!
My friend Joel Marion, another legend in the fitness industry told me “When Isabel speaks, I listen…and so should you.”
Ok so now I had Bill Phillips, Tim Ferris and Joel Marion all telling me that Isabel is the real deal .
My recommendation to you is that if you are still on the fence and for some reason think Isabel and her Diet Solution Program are not for real, that you take a few minutes and watch her short presentation.
In it, she reveals four foods you should NEVER eat if you want to lose belly fat fast.
She gives away a TON of information and I have to say I was very impressed with her knowledge.
Controversial? Some would say her program is controversial. Do I agree? Yes
But controversial is not always bad. Sometimes the most controversial methods are the ones that get the best results.

I listen to what she says and so should you (and watch what she eats haha)!

Exercise and Calorie Deficits
The first way that exercise helps trigger weight loss is by creating a larger calorie deficit for you to fill. To lose weight, it helps if the calories you consume are fewer than the calories you expend. You use up calories doing everything from breathing to sleeping, but the more strenuous the activity you do, the more you use. Exercise should be strenuous, which helps you burn more calories each day. The foods in the Diet Solution Program
Exercise and Metabolism
Carrying more muscle weight helps to boost your metabolism. Muscle requires more energy to maintain than fat does, so building muscle is a great way to improve your metabolic rate. This is best done with strength training, though cardio and flexibility training are also important components of a well-rounded exercise program. It’s important to get enough protein, vitamins, and minerals for your body to support the growth of lean muscle mass. With the Diet Solution Program, anyone should be able to get enough nutrients to support muscle growth.
Strength Training for Weight Loss
To lose weight with strength training, building muscle is key. A lot of women want to avoid building muscle because of the mistaken belief that it will make them look bulky and manly, but this is definitely not true. Both sexes should work to build muscle in order to help improve their metabolisms, and help their bodies become stronger. To strength train appropriately, it isn’t necessary to have a lot of expensive equipment or a gym membership, even things like free weights and isometric exercises can help build muscle if they’re done right.
Consistency is the key. For best results, strength training should be done every other day or so, with periods of rest in between.
Cardiovascular Training
Cardio helps your heart and lungs work more efficiently, and provides a bit of a respite from strength training. Cardiovascular exercises are also incredibly easy to do. For a good cardio workout, you can just go for a run through your neighborhood for a half hour or so, or pop in an exercise DVD for a session or two. There are even cardio exercises based on dancing techniques, for people who like some variety in their workouts.
If you don’t have time for a full-on cardio workout, that’s not a problem. Cardio doesn’t require any specific equipment, so even things like jogging in place while watching TV can give you a bit of a cardio boost when you haven’t got the opportunity to exercise during the day.
Flexibility
It’s important to maintain your flexibility, even though stretching alone won’t significantly contribute to weight loss. It will help you build longer, leaner muscles, and keep you from losing flexibility as you build more muscle mass. Flexibility is what helps keep you from injuring yourself while you’re exercising- it isn’t just important to stretch before you warm up to exercise, stretching itself should be a significant part of your routine to prevent injuries from hyperflexion and hyperextension.
Simple Exercises for Weight Loss
For the best results with the Diet Solution Program, you need to combine it with a well-rounded exercise plan, like the one below. These exercises are easy enough for beginners, but can be modified to be more challenging for people who need an extra workout:
- Yoga plank pose, for thirty seconds to one minute.
- Lunges, eight to ten on each side.
- Crunches, ten to fifteen.
- Isometric hand press, four times each, held for ten seconds.
- Wall push-off, ten to fifteen times.
- Hamstring stretches, for thirty seconds to one minute.
None of these exercises require equipment, they don’t take much time to do, and all of them can have their difficulty increased as your fitness level grows.
Diet alone is sometimes enough to get people to their healthiest weight, but not always. In many people’s cases, even sensible measures like meal plans in the Diet Solution Program aren’t enough by themselves. For those people, exercise can provide an easy way to boost their metabolisms and give them a trimmer, leaner body. For people for whom diet alone works as a weight loss measure, exercise can still help make them stronger, more flexible, and healthier overall.
All in all, I found the Diet Solution Program to be a very well rounded, sensible approach to lose weight. It doesn’t over promise, but it certainly delivers. So if you are worried it’s some sort of hype program it is definitely not. <<<<<< VISIT THE DIET SOLUTION PROGRAM HERE
